If you’re looking for a fun way to keep young children entertained, stick around for this free alphabet scavenger hunt printable. Unlike traditional scavenger hunts, this one comes with a learning twist. Kids will search for objects that start with each letter of the alphabet — from A all the way down to Z. It’s a great way to help kids recognize letters while playing this fun game. And of course it’s all you have to do is print it and you’re go to go.

How to Play the Alphabet Scavenger Hunt
I’ve kept this scavenger game simple. Just like other scavenger hunts, the goal is to find a list of objects—but this time, you’re looking for things that start with each letter of the alphabet, from A to Z. It’s a great way for kids to learn their ABCs while having fun. For example, for A, they might find an apple, airplane, or ant. For B, they could spot a banana, butterfly, or ball. Kids will continue until they’ve found an object for every letter. If you have kids who are old enough and have a phone you can have them snap pictures of their finds with a camera phone.
