Who doesn’t love a good ol’ game of Tic-Tac-Toe? It’s an easy game that can be played anywhere with a pen or pencil and a piece of paper. You can play it on a road trip, while waiting at a restaurant, or just for a quick and fun challenge. It’s simple enough for kids but still fun for all ages. And if you don’t feel like drawing the grid yourself, I’ve got a free printable ready to go. Stick around to grab your copy and start playing.

How to Play Tic-Tac-Toe
I think we all know how to play Tic-Tac-Toe, but in case you don’t, here is how you play. Players take turns placing an X or O in an empty square. The first to get three in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—wins! If all spaces are filled without a winner, it’s a tie.

The supplies needed for the printable game are simple. All you need is the printable and a few other optional items:
- The printable Tic-Tac-Toe game
- Pens or pencils
- Optional dry-erase markers
- Optional dry-erase pocket sleeves are great if you do not have the option to laminate them and you would like to reuse the printable.
- Optional laminating machine
You can also laminate these yourself at home if you have a laminating machine available. The best part of doing that is that you can reuse this printable multiple times, saving you money. If that is the case, make sure to have some dry-erase markers on hand.
