If you know a kid who loves sports, they’re going to have fun with this I Spy Sports printable. They can search for basketballs, baseball bats, helmets, trophies, and more. It’s a great way to keep them entertained, if they’re at home, in the car, or waiting for a game to start. You don’t need anything special—just print it out and let them start spotting all the sports gear. It’s perfect for any young sports fan.
Not only is this an easy activity, but it also helps them learn, so it’s a win. This kind of activity is excellent for little kids. Doing this I Spy activity helps them practice counting, improve their attention span, and work on their fine motor skills—all while having fun.
But the best part of this I Spy is that you can color it. So, if you have a younger kid who might not know how to count or finds this difficult, they can still participate.
How to Play the I Spy Sports
To play the I Spy game is simple.
- Find the items listed at the bottom of the page. In this case, the items are sports-themed. You’ll look for baseball bats, trophies, hockey pucks, and more.
- When you spot an item, count how many times it appears on the page.
- Write the number in the blank space right next to it.
- Keep going until you’ve found everything on the list.
Tip: You can also color the items as you find them. For example, if you’re looking for all the baseball bats, color each one when you spot it. Then, do the same for the other items. Doing that makes it easier to track how many you have found.
